What is Goalie?

Goalie lives in your text messages and helps you build better habits by starting small, checking in, and helping you follow through on the stuff you mean to do. The more you talk to Goalie, the better it gets at understanding your timing, energy, and routines. To get started, just send Goalie a message. Goalie will learn a little about your day and ease you into using it.

Who made Goalie?

Goalie was made by Gabe Ragland and his wife in Portland, Oregon. Gabe has built startups for years, but still found the ordinary stuff surprisingly hard to keep up with: habits, errands, and all the small things that make a day feel productive. They are parents to a two-year-old, so daily life has a lot of moving pieces: raising a kid, keeping a home running, and still trying to make room for their own health, habits, and ambitions. Goalie started as a simple tool to help their own life feel a bit more manageable. Friends seemed to like it too, and so they decided to focus on it full-time and open it up for everyone to use. Does Goalie cost money?

Goalie is free while in beta, and early users will get a significant discount.

Is Goalie private?

We never read your conversations. Goalie is meant to be a place where you can safely share the real details of your life. We use a system for pulling out anonymized, high-level insights to help improve Goalie.
