Reservoir Park Recreation Center Playground

Three age bands, named wheelchair-accessible play equipment, shade sails, two spray parks, a large lawn, and historic landscape features make Reservoir Park the strongest inclusive-play choice in this slice.

For the 2026 season, DPR lists daily spray operation from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning June 22, with no weekly maintenance window shown. DGS lists the public park project as completed, despite an older page still saying construction; nearby private development is separate. Check water operation and current work zones.

Reservoir Park's playground separates play for ages 6–23 months, 2–5, and 5–12 on poured-in-place rubber with shade sails, hillside slides, a wheelchair-accessible swing and spinner, and varied sensory and imaginative play.

The 6.2-acre park also includes two spray parks, a large grass field, Olmsted Walk, a historic fountain, outdoor fitness equipment, and a plaza. DPR recommends it for an enhanced ADA experience, but does not certify every route, slope, transfer point, or amenity.
