Palisades Community Center Playground
Fully enclosed, tree-shaded, nature-themed play for two age groups plus sensory panels and adjacent spray and recreation amenities makes Palisades a flexible family stop.
For the 2026 season, DPR lists spray operation daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning June 22, with Monday maintenance from 2–6 p.m. Building hours do not establish outdoor-playground access, and the renovation page's construction closure ended with the documented July 2013 completion.

Palisades separates play for ages 2–5 and 5–12 inside a fully enclosed playground with poured-in-place rubber, large-tree shade, nature-themed equipment, sensory panels, and varied climbing, sliding, swinging, spinning, tactile, visual, auditory, and imaginative play.
The wider site adds a seasonal spray park, fitness equipment, skate area, courts, fields, and dog park. DPR calls agency playgrounds ADA accessible but provides no Palisades-specific route, grade, transfer, or accessible-equipment assessment, and adjacent amenities are not necessarily inside the enclosure.
