The garden is reached by steep stairs and paths that may lack railings. Visitors who cannot or prefer not to descend can view much of it from an overlook. Same-day tickets are distributed when the visitor center opens; the 30-minute tour meets in the visitor center conservatory and is limited to 12 people.
