Explore the different ways volcanoes erupt with museum mineral-science educators Kadie Bennis and Sally Kuhn. Families can examine and touch several kinds of volcanic rock, compare flowing lava with explosive clouds of gas, ash, and rock, and draw a volcano inspired by their observations.
This drop-in From These Lands Fridays program brings museum specialists and collaborators into conversation with the From These Lands: Sharing Our Natural and Cultural Heritage exhibition. It takes place in Q?rius on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.
