Meet specialists from the museum’s Division of Birds and discover how a research collection of more than 600,000 bird specimens is documented, cared for, and used. Visitors can watch a demonstration showing how newly acquired bird specimens are prepared as study skins for scientific research.
This drop-in installment of the From These Lands Fridays series connects museum scientists and collaborators with themes from the From These Lands: Sharing Our Natural and Cultural Heritage exhibition. It takes place in Q?rius on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.
