Sunsets on the River: The Band Monarch

The Band Monarch performs 1970s-inspired classic rock beside the river. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and music starts at 6 p.m. Admission includes entry to the museum’s current art exhibition. Deutscher Imbiss, Locotos, and Kona Ice are the scheduled food vendors; craft beer and wine will be available for purchase.

What families can bring

• Lawn chairs and blankets
• Outside food, but no outside alcohol
• Well-behaved leashed pets

Bags and coolers may be checked, and ball sports and lawn games are not permitted. Free on-site parking is limited; families arriving after 6 p.m. should plan for a walk from legal neighborhood street parking. Marked accessible spaces are available on site and across from the entrance.

Online sales end four days before the concert, though tickets remain available at the door. The announced rain date is August 13.
