Selling Fast! Camp Art Stars: Nature’s Mysteries for ages 6–9

This weeklong camp uses art to investigate the beauty, wonder, and oddities of nature. Campers will combine materials and experiment with squishy, stretchy, and slimy supplies while making work inspired by stars, insects, and other natural mysteries.

A professional art educator guides hands-on projects, experimentation with unfamiliar media, collaborative learning, and encounters with working artists. Daily plans include artmaking, gallery visits, outdoor play when weather allows, and the Perry Glass Studio’s noon demonstration. The emphasis is on curiosity, creative problem-solving, and process rather than a perfect final product.

What to bring and what is included

• Campers should bring lunch and snacks each day.
• All art supplies are provided.
• Each camper receives a museum T-shirt or apron and is asked to wear it daily for group identification and camp safety.

Space is limited and the museum labels this session as selling fast. Registration is required.
