It’s All About The Bass

This jazz concert places the bass—and its rhythmic and melodic roles—at the center of the ensemble. Jimmy Masters leads on bass, joined by Jason Arce on saxophone, Daniel Clarke on piano, and Kofi Shepsu on drums. The program explores everything from walking bass lines to featured solos, offering school-age music fans a focused look at how a jazz group works from the bottom up.

Doors open one hour before the show. More than 3,000 free parking spaces are available nearby in Town Center. The venue provides wheelchair-accessible entrances, elevators, designated seating, and a hearing loop in the main hall. Accessible seats may be arranged through the box office or selected online when available, while a limited supply of hearing-loop headsets can be borrowed from Coat Check with identification.
