Enslaved Perspective

View the Thoroughgood property through the experiences of enslaved people who lived and worked there during the 18th and 19th centuries. The tour shares individual stories, including accounts of people who escaped slavery and reached freedom. A cornhusk-doll activity gives children a hands-on component.

Advance registration is strongly encouraged, though walk-ups are accepted when space remains. Ticket options cover adults, children ages 3–11, and children 2 and younger; orders are limited to 10 tickets.
