Community Days: Tuskegee Airmen

Learn about the Tuskegee Airmen, the segregated group of Black military pilots and support personnel renowned for their skill and courage during World War II—including airmen with connections to Virginia Beach. Children can build a model P-51 Mustang fighter plane, with storytimes scheduled for 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.

Activities and craft materials are available while supplies last. Admission is free; advance registration is encouraged, but walk-ups are welcome. The registration process includes an acknowledgment that photographs or video may be taken for archival and promotional use.
