The 20th annual fundraiser for Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters begins with race-day packet pickup at 7 a.m., followed by the 5K at 8 a.m. and the two-mile walk at 9 a.m. In-person options include child and stroller-passenger registrations, alongside separate virtual events.
Families are encouraged to wear superhero capes or costumes. The event includes a DJ, a Kids Zone, medals and goody bags for registrants, plus pizza, fruit, and drinks at the food tent.
Organizers monitor heavy rain, lightning, wind, and extreme heat. Start times or routes may change, and severe conditions can postpone or cancel the races without refunds. Downtown roads on the course begin closing by 5 a.m.
