Princess Anne
Beginning players learn chess vocabulary, board setup and piece movement, including castling and en passant. Lessons also cover check, checkmate and stalemate; basic mating patterns; opening principles; defense and calculation; chess notation; and an introduction to tactics.
A recreation-center membership or day pass is required to enroll.
