Walking the Presidio Wall at Dusk

A guide leads this 90-minute walk along the buried foundation of the original 11-acre Presidio San Agustín del Tucson, the Spanish fort associated with the beginning of modern Tucson. Stops cover historic and cultural murals, their artists and imagery, the Pima County Courthouse built over the former wall, public art in Presidio Plaza and early Territorial-period homes in the El Presidio Historic District.

The tour begins and ends at The Brandylion beside the Presidio Museum. Advance registration is available. Cancellations made at least 24 hours beforehand receive a refund less a transaction fee; later cancellations are nonrefundable.
