Explore animal abilities such as camouflage, color-based communication, and exceptional height during a superhero-themed evening highlighting the zoo’s tamandua, giraffe, and reptiles. Families are welcome to wear capes, browse goods from local vendors, and cool off on a waterslide; bring a swimsuit and towel for children who want to participate.
Summer Safari Nights also offers keeper conversations, animal encounters, artifact stations, crafts, games, inflatables, carousel rides, food and drinks from the Flamingo Grill, and face painting or glitter tattoos for purchase. Dan Oved performs a mix of musical styles, and World of Play remains open until dusk.
