Meet members of the team behind Reid Park Zoo and learn what motivates the animal-care staff in their daily work. Children can cool down on a slip-and-slide, so bring a swimsuit and towel if they plan to participate.
Summer Safari Nights also offers keeper conversations, animal encounters, artifact stations, crafts, games, carousel rides, food and drinks from the Flamingo Grill, and face painting or glitter tattoos for purchase. Quadrant 44 performs alternative rock in the Event Garden, and World of Play remains open until dusk.
