This history walk introduces women who shaped early Tucson while visiting the exteriors of their former Main Avenue homes. Stories include attorney Sarah Sorin, Arizona Historical Society leader Edith Kitt, preservation and arts advocate Gladys Franklin, Bettina Steinfeld, Annie Neal Cheyney and Atanacia Hughes.
The route covers approximately one-quarter mile over two hours. It follows the Mansions of Main Avenue route but emphasizes deeper storytelling and less walking, making it a practical option for families who prefer a slower pace.
