Momentos at Tucson Museum of Art

This after-hours museum evening explores place, tradition, representation and community through selected galleries. A semi-guided conversation on “Poetry and the Everyday” begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by a gallery sound performance from Arizona Biennial artist Karima Walker at 6 p.m.

From 7–8 p.m., an open mic curated by sam bloom considers the intersections between mythology and reality, heritage and modernity, and observation and imagination. Families may listen while moving through the galleries.

Admission includes the program and complimentary bar snacks; beer and wine are sold separately. Museum members attend free.
