KXCI Community Radio's annual blues benefit returns to historic El Casino Ballroom with The Paladins, joined by Arizona Blues Hall of Fame saxophonist Alex Flores. The rockabilly and blues group helped launch KXCI's original House Rockin' concert series in the 1980s and returns to Tucson for this special performance.
The Xcelerators, a Tucson ensemble that describes its sound as gritty, sophisticated blues, opens the show. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the music begins at 7:30 p.m. Food from The Parish will be available for purchase.
Proceeds support KXCI's educational, informational, and community-based radio programming. Advance tickets are discounted for KXCI members; limited reserved individual seats and four-person high-top tables are also available.
