Alicia Keys’ songs and new music shape this Broadway coming-of-age story about 17-year-old Ali, her protective mother and the piano-playing neighbor who becomes her mentor. Set in 1990s New York, the musical explores family, independence, purpose and community.
The production runs about 2 hours 35 minutes including intermission. It is recommended for ages 8 and older and contains strong language and mature themes; every attendee needs a ticket, and babes in arms are not admitted.
