Celebrate Tucson's 251st anniversary in the Presidio Museum's Territorial Patio. Presented by the Tucson–Pima County Historical Commission, the gathering recognizes the region's long human history and the city's formal founding date of August 20, 1775.
The name Tucson comes from the O'odham phrase “s-cuk ṣon,” meaning “at the base of the black hill.” Musical entertainment and participating community partners were still being finalized when the event was published. Brandylion Spirits will be open during the evening.
