Birds of Mission Garden

Join one of Mission Garden's experienced birders for a guided morning walk focused on seasonal and resident species. Participants will practice identifying familiar Tucson-area birds by sight, calls, and songs. The route includes checks for the garden's roadrunners and activity around the hummingbird feeder.

Designed to work well for beginning and intermediate birders, the walk also connects birdlife with the garden's agricultural history and locally important crops. Meet at the front gate off Mission Lane; no RSVP is required.

Restrooms are available on the north side of the garden, east of the kitchen building. Accommodation requests can be directed through Mission Garden's visitor information.
