Tampa Theatre presents the 2024 film Wicked as a free outdoor sing-along at Sparkman Wharf. The PG-rated musical follows Elphaba and Galinda from their unlikely friendship at Shiz University to a life-changing encounter with the Wizard of Oz, with the audience encouraged to sing along to favorites such as “Defying Gravity.”
The screening is free and does not require a ticket or reservation, though lawn seating is limited. Guests may arrive when doors open at 6 p.m.; the first 100 attendees receive a complimentary LED fan and a bag of Tampa Theatre popcorn. The film runs approximately 2 hours 40 minutes.
