Tampa Theatre brings the 2023 live-action The Little Mermaid to Sparkman Wharf for a free outdoor sing-along. The G-rated musical follows Ariel as she pursues life beyond the sea and features both the familiar Howard Ashman–Alan Menken songs and newer music by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
The screening is free and does not require a ticket or reservation, though lawn seating is limited. Guests may arrive when doors open at 6 p.m.; the first 100 attendees receive a complimentary LED fan and a bag of Tampa Theatre popcorn. The film runs approximately 2 hours 15 minutes.
