Tampa Theatre and the Henry B. Plant Museum present a free community screening of Douglas Fairbanks’ silent adventure The Black Pirate. The sword-swinging story follows a nobleman who joins a pirate band while seeking revenge for his father’s death.

Artist-in-residence Steven Ball will perform his original musical score live during the film. The program connects with the Plant Museum’s Gaspar’s Gold: Carnival and Community in a New South City exhibition.
