This installment of MOSI’s research-talk series combines a live star tour, a presentation and audience Q&A inside the Saunders Planetarium. The topic is “Pathology: Behind the Scenes of a Diagnosis.”
The speaker is Dr. Xiaoyin “Sara” Jiang, a University of South Florida pathology professor and senior staff pathologist with Ruffolo, Hooper & Associates. Her specialties include cytopathology, head-and-neck and endocrine surgical pathology, thyroid molecular testing, ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration and professional uses of social media. She has written multiple book chapters, co-authored Survival Guide to Cytopathology, received teaching and mentorship honors, and lectured nationally and internationally.
The program is included with regular museum admission. Accessible planetarium entry is available by elevator on the fourth floor.
