METROCON Annual Convention 2026

Florida’s large three-day anime convention fills the Tampa Convention Center with stage shows, gaming, cosplay, celebrity guests, exhibitors, artists, panels, workshops, music and dance programming, a manga library, interactive activities, and the Anime Human Chess Match. A Junior Cosplay Showcase is available for participants age 12 and younger, with a parent or guardian required to be present.

METROCON welcomes all ages. Every attendee age 12 or younger must remain with a registered parent or guardian on the premises. Children younger than 6 are admitted free with a paid adult, while ages 6–12 qualify for discounted child passes. Child passes cover standard programming but not VIP-only activities or separately priced tournaments, classes, and the Masquerade.

Tickets and accessibility

• Tickets can be purchased online or at the convention; on-site sales are cashless.
• At-the-door adult single-day prices are $50 Friday, $60 Saturday, and $45 Sunday, plus applicable taxes and fees.
• Guests can request a complimentary Accessibility Pass at registration.
• Accessibility-pass holders with sensory or mobility needs receive early Exhibit Hall access during designated VIP-entry periods.
