Friday at METROCON
The anime, gaming, comics, and cosplay convention offers shows, gaming areas, cosplay programming, panels, workshops, a manga library, special guests, artists, and a large exhibit hall. Friday’s general exhibit-hall entry begins at noon, while the broader convention schedule continues late into the night; families should consult the official schedule when choosing age-appropriate sessions.
Children younger than 6 enter free with a paid parent or guardian. Discounted passes are offered for ages 6–12, and every attendee age 12 or younger must remain with an attending parent or guardian at all times. Standard passes cover most programming, but some tournaments, materials-based classes, and the Masquerade cost extra.
The convention has a free Accessibility Pass available from registration, a dedicated accessibility team, seating or queue accommodations on request, and support for trained service animals.
