This members-only summer storytime introduces young children to the world of bugs and what makes an animal an insect. The morning combines an interactive story, songs, movement, and an appearance by one of ZooTampa’s mascots, Manny T or Flora the Panther.
What to expect
The storytime portion lasts about 15 minutes and is designed specifically for ages 2–5, with opportunities to dance, sing, and participate. A mascot meet-and-greet follows the show.
Check in at ZooVentures Theater with the child’s ZooTampa membership card ready. Families should arrive at least 10 minutes early because the program begins promptly.
