History professor Rodney Wilson recounts a globe-spanning archival mystery involving two 120-pound bronze jardinieres displayed in the German Court of Honor at the 1904 World’s Fair. The investigation follows their unknown maker, post-fair travels, rediscovery, and eventual return.

The presentation combines art history, local lore, and detective work to show what happened to major fair objects after the exposition closed. ASL interpretation can be requested two weeks ahead.
