The Delmar Maker District fills several neighboring blocks with art demonstrations, live music, food and hands-on activities. At Third Degree Glass, families can watch hot-shop glassblowing at 6:15 and 8:15 p.m., see a flame-working demonstration at 7:15 p.m., browse a sale of imperfect-but-intact glass pieces and visit a market staffed by young makers ages 5–18.
Other district activities include free admission to MADE for Kids from 5–8 p.m., a makers market, arts-and-crafts experiences, an ice-cream social and live music. Food vendors will be stationed around the district, and Third Degree's current glass exhibition will be open during the party.
