Stargazing at Tower Grove Park

Use telescopes supplied by the St. Louis Astronomical Society to view the moon, planets, and stars from the field between Stone Shelter and the West End Picnic Site. Amateur astronomers of every age may participate or bring their own equipment.

The observation field is intentionally dark, so bring a flashlight for walking. Street parking is available on Northwest and Southwest drives, with restrooms at the West End Picnic Site. Registration is not required. Stargazing depends on the weather; check the park’s online updates before leaving home.
