Nature Art: Painting with Nature

In this hands-on Missouri Department of Conservation workshop, participants turn berries, bark, leaves, rocks, and other natural materials into paint. The lesson covers extracting plant pigments and minerals, and everyone will make paint to use during the class and take home.

Because of the materials and safety considerations, the workshop is for adults and families with older children; every attendee must be at least 8 and must register individually. Meet at the West End Picnic Site, most easily reached from the Kingshighway entrance.
