Celebrate St. Louis ice-cream history with frozen custard, live music, children’s activities, a book signing, and a dessert-themed museum scavenger hunt. The first 300 visitors receive a complimentary Ted Drewes concrete; additional servings will be available for purchase.

Schedule

  • Noon–3 p.m.: Amanda Clark and Audrey Westcott sign Finding Forest Park, a search-and-find history book for ages 3–7.
  • Noon–2 p.m.: Rivertown Sound Quartet performs barbershop and doo-wop favorites.
  • Noon–3 p.m.: Make ice-cream bookmarks and pretend concretes, explore a sensory-play station, and hunt for sweet moments in St. Louis history throughout the galleries.

Scavenger-hunt participants can collect a prize before leaving. ASL interpretation can be requested two weeks ahead.
