Looking for Group (LFG)

Central Library becomes a tabletop gaming space for role-playing games, collectible card games, miniatures, and modern and classic board games. Players can find opponents or an adventuring party, try games such as Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, and Dungeons & Dragons, or ask staff and regular participants for help learning something new.

Miniature painting

An Army Painter station supplies paints, brushes, and water cups. Participants are encouraged to bring their own unpainted miniatures and may also bring personal painting supplies, provided they keep their work area tidy. Some special sessions may offer practice miniatures.

Practical details

• The program is free and drop-in; registration and an existing gaming group are not required.
• Staff or volunteers can help solo visitors find a pickup game.
• Free parking is available on 15th Street between Olive and Locust. The parking code consists of the two-digit year, two-digit month, and #.
• The program primarily serves adults and teens. Younger players should attend with an adult because some games are complex and use small pieces.
