Tour Good Journey's youth community garden and see raised beds, permaculture growing areas, fruit trees, vegetables, herbs and native plants. The welcoming garden also includes murals, art, a peaceful seating area, an outdoor kitchen and the new Agriculture Learning Center and Community Pantry. Light snacks follow the tour.
Plan ahead
- Children must attend with a parent or guardian and be included in registration.
- The outdoor tour runs rain or shine. Wear closed-toe walking shoes, dress for weather and bring sun protection, water and a rain layer as needed.
- Expect some uneven or muddy ground; seating and restrooms are available.
- Pets are not permitted, except ADA-defined service animals.
- Street parking is available.
