Grand Theater Camp: Advanced Acting

This two-week theater intensive invites students entering grades 6–8 to strengthen their acting skills with professional theater artists. Campers will work on audition technique, scene study, improvisation, voice, movement, and original performance-making while learning more about professional theater in St. Louis and beyond. Previous participation in Intro to Acting is suggested but not required.

The program meets Monday through Friday during the weeks of July 20–24 and July 27–31. Most activities take place in Xavier Hall’s Black Box and Mainstage Theater at Saint Louis University. The experience also includes a field trip and workshops at Metro Theater Company in the Grand Center Arts District.
