Spend a day investigating mushrooms and fungi with the Missouri Mycological Society. The program includes expert presentations, educational exhibits, mushroom art, children's activities, local vendors, and a table of freshly collected specimens where mycologists explain different species.
Families can look through microscopes during demonstrations led by Kerri McCabe and Brian Looney, then watch a cooking demonstration and cultivation class. Presenters include Dr. Gordon Walker, Mike Snyder, and Maxine Stone. Participation is included with regular Garden admission.
