Disney’s stage musical follows teenage newsboy Jack Kelly as he organizes fellow newspaper sellers against powerful publishers in turn-of-the-century New York. Inspired by the 1899 Newsboys’ Strike and the 1992 film, the production features Alan Menken and Jack Feldman’s Tony Award-winning score, energetic choreography, and themes of solidarity and standing up for what is right.
