Seattle actor and teaching artist Minki Bai performs a solo theatrical account of Fred Ohr, the first and only Korean American flying ace. Drawing on interviews with Ohr, American folk songs and tall-tale traditions, the play follows his difficult Idaho childhood, experiences of racial discrimination and determination to become a pilot before confronting German aircraft during World War II.

The program is free for museum members and otherwise included with general admission. Its themes of war and discrimination are most appropriate for older elementary-age children.
