The garden reopens as a new phase of construction begins. Fifteenth-generation Japanese master stone mason Suminori Awata will lead artisans from Japan and the United States in building a wall stone by stone.

Visitors can enjoy the garden while witnessing a rare traditional craft process unfold during the summer. Families should remember that this is an active construction demonstration and follow all posted boundaries.
