Free First Thursday at the Burke Museum

The Burke waives admission and stays open three hours later than usual. Families can explore natural and cultural collections and watch museum work taking place in visible storage areas, laboratories and workrooms.

Advance timed tickets are recommended. Parking near the museum is limited, particularly while UW classes are in session, so public transit is encouraged. Drivers can go directly to the adjacent N1 visitor lot from Memorial Way NE and pay at the machine or by phone without stopping at the campus gatehouse.
