This free Festál celebration shares Sikh and Punjabi culture through turban tying, Gatka martial arts, Bhangra and Giddha dance, live singing, dhol drumming, poetry, plays, immigrant stories and a history exhibition. Children’s activities are part of the program, and free vegetarian langar seva food reflects the Sikh tradition of community service and hospitality.

The festival is produced by Seattle Center with Sevadar, a local nonprofit that began the event as Turban Day before expanding it into a wider cultural celebration.
