Tech Topple: The Great Adventure

Expert builders from Reactica will assemble a 40,000-domino kinetic installation built around one ball's journey across an ocean, up a mountain and through an avalanche. The route incorporates roughly 300 chain reactions, combining engineering, troubleshooting, storytelling and large-scale visual design.

From Wednesday through Saturday, museum visitors can watch the team design, test and repair the evolving build during operating hours, interact with the builders and see domino fields, ramps and machines take shape. The culminating Big Topple begins at 1 p.m. sharp on Saturday, July 18. Seating for the finale is first-come, first-served, and the program is included with museum admission.
