WAR brings its blend of funk, soul, jazz, Latin music, rock, and R&B to this outdoor Music in the Park concert, with Malo and Los Yesterdays opening. The program also includes a United Lowrider Council car show, lucha libre wrestling, and a salute to Ray Rodriguez.
The event is open to all ages, and children younger than 12 enter free with a paid adult. The ticket page and organizer schedule both list a 5pm opening, with the program continuing until 11pm.
Before you go
- Enter from the San Carlos Street side of the park near the Quetzalcoatl sculpture.
- Food trucks and booths selling beer, wine, and water will be available. Outside food, drinks, and water bottles are prohibited, and most vendors are cashless.
- Blankets are permitted on the lawn, but chairs are not. Oversize bags and backpacks are prohibited; permitted bags are limited to small clutches or clear totes and may be searched.
- The Plaza is wheelchair accessible, with limited ADA seating. Pets are prohibited except for service animals.
