AACI's free community fair combines back-to-school support with health and wellness services for children and families. Available services include blood-pressure, diabetes, dental, height-and-weight, and mental-health resources; fluoride treatment is offered for children. Tdap vaccination requires an appointment at 408-975-2730.
Family activities
- Backpacks and school supplies while supplies last; the child must be present
- Youth crafts and activities
- Haircuts from Urban Barber College
- Cultural performances by Niseishin Daiko, Team-M Taekwondo, and Grito de la Cultura Dance Academy
- Food trucks, with a $5 voucher for the first 1,000 attendees
Free parking is available in the adjacent lot from Moorpark Avenue or Empey Way. VTA Route 59 serves the site.
