Four California writers—Jen Siraganian, Deema Shehabi, Farnaz Fatemi and Nathalie Khankan—share work during this indoor Poetry Festival reading. Their writing draws on Armenian, Palestinian, Iranian, Syrian and Finnish heritage alongside themes of identity, displacement and social experience.
Admission is free. The subject matter is most likely to engage older elementary-age children who already enjoy poetry or literary performances.
