Poet, visual artist and teaching facilitator Elizabeth Jiménez Montelongo leads this free creative-writing workshop presented with La Raíz Magazine. The program emphasizes culturally relevant poetry and expression rooted in Indigenous, Chicana/o, Latin American and diasporic experiences.
The workshop takes place upstairs in the Firehouse, which has elevator access. Seats are limited, so advance reservation is required.
