Spend a drop-in museum day moving among art projects, Korean ceramics, storytelling, games, and gallery tours. Some activities begin at 10 a.m., shortly before the listing’s official start time, and the day’s published schedule continues through 4 p.m.

Schedule highlights

  • All day: Learn and play mahjong from 10:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Drop-in art making and Sip & Sketch tea tasting and drawing run from 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
  • Korean ceramics: Master ceramicist Jeon SooGeol demonstrates onggi making from 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m. A hands-on onggi workshop follows from 2–3 p.m.; reservations are recommended.
  • Animation workshop: Storyboard artist Brandon Moon leads Monthly Makers: Flip Books from 1:30–2:30 p.m., showing participants how to create a simple pencil-and-sticky-note animation frame by frame.
  • Tours and stories: Choose Korean-themed family storytelling for all ages at 11 a.m.; Chiharu Shiota: Two Home Countries tours at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.; tea-culture tours at 1 and 3:30 p.m.; or a collection tour at 2:30 p.m.
