Feathered Friends: Birdwatching and Nature Art for Families

Art educator and San Francisco birder Nancy Palmer leads families through birdwatching basics before a walk to observe birds in their garden habitats. The group will look and listen for nesting behavior, learn how birds construct safe homes, and finish with a nature-inspired art session using observations and natural materials.

The program is specifically for children ages 6–12 with a parent or guardian. One ticket covers one child-and-adult pair. Bring binoculars if available, along with plenty of curiosity. Members can request a 20% discount; tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
